The Seek Foundation, true to its mission “to empower, educate, and inspire young minds by providing holistic platforms for growth,” proudly hosted ASSET 2024, the annual sports competition conducted under the banner “Believe You Can.” This banner encompasses a cycle of competitions aimed at nurturing holistic growth: Young Forum (intellectual), Royal Gridlock (cultural), and ASSET (sports). Together, they symbolize the Foundation’s vision of fostering well-rounded individuals who believe in themselves and their potential.

This year’s ASSET 2024 was a remarkable celebration of energy, determination, and enthusiasm, drawing participation not only from across Tamil Nadu but also from various states of India including Rajasthan, West Bengal, Karnataka, Delhi, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Pondicherry, Maharashtra, Chandigarh, Telangana, and Punjab. Adding a global flavor, entries were also received from Minnesota, United States of America. The wide participation highlighted the inclusivity of the platform and the Foundation’s commitment to reaching learners across geographies.

The competitions were tailored grade-wise, encouraging students to engage in activities suited to their age and abilities. The youngest participants, from Pre-KG to UKG, lit up the stage with their Fun Fitness Challenges—from bunny jumps to balloon bounces. Primary students tested their agility through the Mini Athletes Challenge with high-knee sprints and frog jumps, while upper-primary students showcased balance and focus in the graceful Crane Walk. Middle schoolers took up the skillful test of Football Juggling, while high school participants brought rhythm and stamina to the Hop & Skip Challenge. The open Asanas segment combined health with mindfulness, as participants demonstrated yoga postures with explanations of their benefits. Senior students proved their endurance in Bench Dips & Plank Holds, and the open Push-up Challenge displayed power, resilience, and strength.

To recognize excellence, winners were awarded cash prizes—₹3,000 for first place, ₹2,500 for second place, and ₹1,500 for third place. In addition, medals and certificates were conferred on all winners. To ensure safe delivery, the prizes were dispatched in the form of Demand Drafts (DDs), medals, and certificates through registered post.

ASSET 2024 was not just a sporting event but a vibrant reminder that sports instill confidence, discipline, and unity. Through such initiatives, the Seek Foundation continues to create opportunities where children from diverse backgrounds can come together, compete, and most importantly—believe that they can achieve greatness.
